I went to Adelaide for work recently and had dinner at Zenhouse Tea Corner. I ordered a mock duck dish, I can’t remember what it was called exactly, and it was very very yummy and very duck-like. It looked like pieces of duck, it had the texture of duck, it tasted like duck in hoisin sauce and it was delicious. (It also looked visually very appealing when it first came out, but I only thought to photograph it when I was halfway through demolishing it.)
It’s really amazing what vegan chefs can produce.
