Q: What to do if you make a spaghetti sauce that underwhelms?
A: Jazz it up and try again with a lasagne! After making the sauce much more tomato-y and flavourful, I made the white sauce part of the mac ‘n’ shews recipe, but with added nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavour. The topping is a parmesan replacement from The Sexy Vegan Cookbook… a mixture of pecan nuts and nutritional yeast, processed in a blender or food processor. Was tasty.
