I made Baingan Bharta, Lemon and Garlic Dal and Cilantro and Garlic Naan: all recipes from Veganissimo. Baingan Bharta is an eggplant/aubergine curry, involving roasted and unroasted eggplant. I’d never made naan bread before and I was happy with how they turned out. The lemon and garlic dal (at the back of the plate) was really delicious. My partner, who is from the north-east of England (and hence knows his way around a curry) declared that he “would have paid good money” for this meal.
