Perhaps inspired by the Tibetan momos at the Eumundi markets, I decided to make BBQ jackfruit buns for lunch, using this recipe from Like a Vegan. I only had one tin of jackfruit in the cupboard, so I halved the recipe and made 8 buns.
I was pretty pleased with how they turned out, especially as I’d never made steamed dumplings before. Look how cute they looked sitting in the steamer, waiting to be steamed! I’ll definitely make this again.
